New staff added to the NOVIMOVE team

The NOVIMOVE consortium welcomes new research members recently added to the team. From Imed-ID Lab Miha Sajko will develop a short-term voyage plan predictor component and scheduling algorithms for optimizing schedules of locks and bridges. TU Delft’s Ph.D. student Adrien Nicolet will support the development of logistics models. Postdoc researcher Pablo Segovia Castillo will be involved in the work package dealing with high-level architecture design for smart river navigation systems. Watch the first NOVIMOVE video update

Meet some of the leaders of the NOVIMOVE-project in the first video update! Hear them explaining the goals of this HORIZON2020 EU funded innovation project, aiming to improve inland waterways logistics on the Rhine-Alpine corridor significantly. This video features project coordinator prof. dr. R.R. Negenborn as well as work package leaders Joanna Wieczerzynska-Van Baarle (TU Delft), Ali Mohamoud (TNO) and Edwin van Hassel (University of Antwerp).

Let’s get moving!

On Friday 19th of June the official kick-off of the project NOVIMOVE took place. More than 70 people from 21 partner organisations gathered online in a General Assembly to discuss first steps to be taken in this 4 years research project which is funded by the H2020 program of the European Union.
