On the 28th of March, NOVIMOVE is present during the Maritime Innovation Platform in the Energiehuis in Dordrecht. Our stand ws frequently visited by those who want to find out more about the newest ship concepts for fluctuating water levels. And since it was almost Eastern, the yellow NOVIMOVE Easter chocolate bars could be spotted from a fair distance.
Last week, professor Rudy Negenborn (TU Delft) presented the NOVIMOVE project state of play during the IWT Week. Scheduled to take part on the second day of this week dedicated to IWT, NOVIMOVE covered both two topics on the agenda: resilience (new fluctuating water level-proof ship designs) and automation (Dynamic Lock Scheduling System and Smart Navigation System). A explanatory animation has been created to introduce the upcoming NOVIMOVE Serious Game. Due date for release of the game is autumn 2023. The game is currently being finalized under direction of the University of Antwerp team. Teasers are looking promising! You can already pre-register for the game on www.novimove.eu/game.
