Last week, professor Rudy Negenborn (TU Delft) presented the NOVIMOVE project state of play during the IWT Week. Scheduled to take part on the second day of this week dedicated to IWT, NOVIMOVE covered both two topics on the agenda: resilience (new fluctuating water level-proof ship designs) and automation (Dynamic Lock Scheduling System and Smart Navigation System).
With another year to go with this R&D project, the project is about to consolidate some of the main findings soon. A serious game, containing NOVIMOVE innovations and calculating the effects of them, is currently being worked on. Stay tuned!
Tomorrow (Tuesday the 28th of March), the NOVIMOVE team will be present at the Dutch Maritime Innovation Platform in Dordrecht.
