Today, a part of the NOVIMOVE – smart & sustainable waterways team is present at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) in Dublin. The TRA is widely appreciated as one of the largest and most important transport congresses in Europe. All modes of transport are represented. 📽 The NOVIMOVE – smart & sustainable waterways project has shown significant progress in Antwerp during the recent demonstration session at SEAFAR recently. Enhancements in inland waterway navigation include more accurate ship positioning signals, which improve safety and give remote captains increased confidence. A demonstration highlighted the positive impact on water safety. The NOVIMOVE Serious Game has recently been thoroughly tested. The purpose of this game is to implement potential innovations, as researched by the NOVIMOVE team, in a virtual reality environment and to assess their potential impact.
